THREE KEYS TO HAPPINESS

If you were to ask 100 people what they wanted, most would probable say happiness. Most people think that happiness can be obtained by something outside of themselves. In all honesty happiness is nothing more than a state of mind. Abraham Lincoln said "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be". There are three things you can do to promote your happiness. 1. Control your thoughts, 2. Control your words and 3. Control your focus. I call this The Divine Prescription for Happiness. The external things should not make you happy but enhance your happiness.

GIVING THANKS

2day many of us celebrated Thanksgiving. We took the time and prepared our favorite meals. some of us dressed up and went visiting. How many of us actually considered the things we are thankful for? I try to count my blessings daily. It really helps me to start my day off on the right foot. B4 you go to bed 2night try to write a list of 10 things for which your are thankful. Thanksgiving may only be one day, but we can give thanks everyday. Thank all of you who took the time to read this message. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

INSPIRED ACTION

"Action is where the status quo ends and TRANSFORMATION begins". This is a quote taken for the book The Law Of Attraction In Action by Deanna Davis. I have read hundred of books on success and achievement and yet I'm not where I want to be. I know that the honest truth is that I have not taken action when inspired to do so. When I have taken action I have been inconsistent. Just a look at my blog bares record to this activity/inactivity. you may have all of the knowledge and resources, but if you are not taking action you will never realize you dreams.

A story about four people

This is the story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody, would do it, Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when actually Nobody accused Anybody.

Abundance

You hear it all the time "wealth is a mindset" or "the world is abundant". I was doing my laundry the other day and as I was hanging my shirts a thought hit me. I hung eleven shirts. Then I counted the pants, next the suits, finally the shoes. The saying came to me about the man who was complaining about his shoes until he meet a man who had no feet. Abundance is all around, have you stop to count it?

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Gravity & Thought

Gravity is a law. Simply put it states what goes up must come down. Thought is a law. simply put, you move in the direction of your dominating thoughts. You can add intensity to both the law of gravity and the law of thought. With the law of gravity, the heavier the object the faster it falls. We intensify the law of thought by adding the feeling of realness. Also the law of thought is mulitiplied, not only are you moving in the direction of your dominating thoughts, those thoughts are also moving the things you are thinking about toward you.

Don't Worry Sing Happy

When You find yourself in the need of a little pick up try singing this song by Bob Marley. If you could'nt carry a note, even if you had a paper bag, just repeat the words like I do.

First Thoughts

What are your frist thoughts in the morning? Most of us who understand the laws of the mind, know that the subconscious is more easily impressed when in a dreamy like state. Jose Silva called this the Alpha level. So our thoughts before drifting off to sleep, and our thoughts when waking up are important. Do you believe that THOUGHTS ARE THINGS, and that your thoughts have a vibrarional frenquency? You know That "YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR OUTER-TUDE (my new word. lol). What you give out you get back multipilied. Here are a couple suggestions for your morning attitude.

When you open your eyes repeat Pslams 118:24 - This is the day which the Lord hath made we will (or use I) REJOICE and be glad in it. (end of scripture)

Sing, sing a song, sing out loud sing out strong, sing of good things not bad sing of happy not sad just sing. (This is a song I remembered from preschool)

Grattitued has been such a powerful exercise for me. Every morning I get up and say "Thank you." Every morning when my feet hit the floor, "Thank you." {James Ray - The Secret)

The Secret is so secret and what is called New thought is a revivification of old thought. Ecclesiastes 1:9 states "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun". There is no new thought under the sun. However that are many new labels.

MIND your own business

Our job as humans is to hold on to the thoughts of what we want, make it absolutely clear in our minds what we want, and from that we start to invoke one of the greatest laws in the Universe, and that's the law of attraction. You become what you think about most, but you also attract what you think about most. (John Assaraf - "The Secret)

What you put into your MIND is your business, it is a personal choice that we make everyday. Just remember that old computer saying GIGO Garbage In Garbage Out.

Expectation Baskets

Today I was at church and there was something which really caught my attention. There was a part in the worship service when the children are given baskets to collect an offering. I noticed that the baskets that were given to the childen were tiny. The baskets were cute, but not able to hold much money. The thought occured to me, "How much money to they EXPECT to collect in these tiny baskets." What about you how big is your Expectation Basket? Remember you can only recieve that for which you have made room. Catherine Ponder tells us that if you want new clothes, make space for them. One lady who was looking for a mate noticed she slept in the middle of the bed. She started sleeping on one side. She made room in the closets for her expected mates clothes. If this sounds a bit looney to you, she was married in less that than a year. We show what we really expect by our actions of preparation. When a man is going to propose marriage to his love, he goes and buys the ring before he proposes not after. He is EXPCETing a YES. Are you showing that you are EXPECTING yeses by your actions? If you want to move, don't just look for houses, start packing. If you want more good in your life, maybe you need to get a bigger EXPECTATION BASKET.
